Our Purpose

We believe that indigenous churches are in the best place to serve the Kingdom in their culture. Our purpose is to assist these churches and mission organizations around the world.

Our Mission

As We Go Missions comes alongside foreign missions and churches through encouragement, education and financial support. We help US churches to experience missions through short term trips, helping both grow the Kingdom of God.

Why do you go?

We have felt the call of God on our hearts and God has made it possible to serve him both in the US and around the world.

Where do you go?

We currently are working in Zimbabwe, Africa. We have built homes for under-house people in Mexico with Amor Ministries. We have led medical teams and trained pastors in Haiti with Global Vision Citadelle Ministries.

How can I help?

We always need financial assistance. Not only for our travels and support but for the churches, clinic and schools we work with. Contributions can be sent to our sending church. Shelton Christian Church, 105 Arcadia Ave., Shelton, WA, 98584. Designate “Thackers to Zimbabwe.”

Can I apply to be a part of the team?

We are recruiting people to share in a 3-day build with Amor Ministries. The trip is over Veteran’s Weekend, November 9-11. The cost is $495, plus airfare. If you are interested let us know and we will get you the information Email us and we give you details. Be sure to register the group As We Go Missions (as of August 6 our group is not yet listed. I registered under Amor Three Day and we will fix that next week.) and the date of November 9-11.
